Where Should You Place The Photo Booth

Here are the dos and don’t when planning where to place our photo booth for the best experience.

  1. Do put the photo booth in a visible location. Make sure your guests can find us. If guests can't see us, we're out of sight and out of mind. Just in case you're worried about us being distracting during speeches or dances, we make it a point to temporarily stop the photo booth during those times (and turn off our lights) so we're not taking attention away from the special moment!

  1. Do provide us with the required space and power. We need at least 8x8 space, but our ideal space is 10x10. Make sure to leave space for a line as well. We need a wall outlet that is specifically for the photo booth. Sometimes sharing an outlet with the DJ or lighting can overpower the plug. We do carry around an extension cord that will help us reach the nearest outlet if needed.

  2. Do place us inside or in a shaded area. Photos turn out so much better when we are not in direct light. As of right now, we are currently not doing any outdoor events.

  3. Don’t put us right above any pot lights or chandeliers. These lights can create harsh shadows and makes the photos look bad.

  4. Do keep us away from sunlight and windows. The sunlight is not our friend. The sun shining on the photo booth creates harsh shadows on photos.

  5. Do provide us with a 6-foot table and linen that matches your decor. We’ll bring our own if needed but if you want your photo booth set up to match your overall decor we highly recommend having a table with similar linen. You can even add a floral or a sign that says “photo booth or your hashtags” that matches your other decor font or design. We would love a smaller table where guests would have a spot to set their drinks while they take a photo.
